A Luxe Holiday Transformation
There’s a special kind of magic that happens when a home transitions into the holiday season — a blend of sparkle, warmth, and togetherness. For Kathy and Thomas, a family we’ve had the pleasure of supporting since their move last year, this season was all about elevating their beautiful Lakewood Ranch home into a sophisticated, holiday-ready sanctuary.
Now fully settled in with their two teenage daughters and their adorable pup, Addie, they brought us back to create a festive atmosphere that felt elegant, intentional, and deeply “them.”
Elevating the Tree: A Glow That Feels Like Luxury
To begin, we focused on the centerpiece of any holiday home — the tree. Knowing Kathy loves soft, glowing ambiance, we carefully tested and layered 15 strands of perfectly curated lights in both warm-white and soft LED tones. The result was a luxurious, golden glow that illuminated the entire room.
We shaped and fluffed the garland, styled her striking black candlesticks, and layered the mantle greenery until it draped with a lush, effortless elegance.
With the tree skirt, collar, and timer in place, the home began to radiate chic, understated holiday glamour.
From Entryway to Dining Room: A Home Wrapped in Holiday Beauty
To complete the transformation, we styled the rest of the home with the same elevated, cohesive look.
We:
✨ Hung wreaths and garland to frame the entryway in a grand, symmetrical welcome
✨ Mirrored the design inside by adding identical wreaths to the interior doors
✨ Refreshed all batteries for reliable, soft evening glow
✨ Styled the coffee bar and kitchen island with greenery and simple luxe accents
✨ Added ribbon to the stocking holders and refined the mantle for a full, plush appearance
✨ Created a festive tablescape in the dining room — complete with seasonally layered placemats and Christmas-tree-folded napkins
This tablescape brought a warm, inviting charm to the dining room — balancing sophisticated greenery with festive color. The soft textures and deep tones tied the whole space together beautifully.
