How to Keep Your Dishes Organized in Your Kitchen Cabinets

Do you ever feel like your kitchen cabinets are a mess? You're not alone! Many people struggle with keeping their dishes organized. They come in all shapes and sizes, and they can be bulky and heavy. But it doesn't have to be this way. With a few simple tips, you can keep your kitchen cabinets neat and tidy.

Use stacking shelf racks.

These cabinet shelves add an extra layer of storage. This is a great way to store dishes that you don't use as often, or to create a separate space for coffee mugs, glasses, or other small items. No more stacking plates like we’re playing a dangerous game of Jenga! I have two favorites; this one I like because its adjustable, and this one I like because it has a solid shelf and stacks really nicely.

Stack cups with saucers.

This is a great way to keep dishes from tipping over, especially if they're stacked high. Alternate cup & saucer, insead of stacking all the cups inside each other. This way they will have a sturdy base and won’t risk falling over.

Use turntables.

Turntables, aka lazy susans, are a great way to make the most of vertical space in your kitchen cabinets. They allow you to easily reach items that are stored in the back, without having to pull everything out. Placing them on the higher shelves brings your essentials front and center, eliminating the need for a precarious balancing act.

Put frequently used dishes in the front and lower down.

This will make it easy to grab what you need when you're in a hurry. There is no rule that says all your plates have to be in one cabinet and all your glasses in another. Try placing all your frequently used items together, like your dishes, bowls, glasses, and favorite mug in one section. That means that after washing, you can put everything away at once, instead of opening and closing different cabinets.

Purge your dishes regularly.

Get rid of any dishes that you don't use, or that are chipped or cracked. This will free up space and make it easier to keep your dishes organized.

I hope these tips help you keep your dishes organized in your kitchen cabinets!
